Feel Good Now

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s the structure?

There are 10 modules. Each module has 2 parts. We meet once a week with one week integration halfway through the program. Each live class is 90 minutes with a 30 minute coaching "after party" session. All classes and group coaching are live with Rachel.

What am I getting?

The Feel Good Life is effective, deep, long-lasting and very gentle. Because conditioning, trauma, and habits are hard to unwind, we will be intentional and consistent within an intensive time frame. Nourishing the mind, body and spirit, will generate results in 5 months that are not possible in regular therapy, a yoga get-away, a couple of medicine ceremonies,
or a silent meditation retreat.

Over 5 months, you receive:

  • 21 live group classes with Rachel
  • 20 sessions of live group coaching with Rachel
  • 9 private sessions with your continuity coach
  • 1 private session with Rachel
  • Weekly 30 minute buddy calls
  • Personalized support (text or voice messages) every day if you like!
  • Weekly downloadable transformative practices
  • A very supportive group process
  • Lifetime access to these tools that support your happiness and well-being

What do we do in each class and what modalities do you use?

Every class includes a practice, a lecture, sharing, and questions. Sharing is always optional, and will never be more than 2 minutes. This prevents us from digging into the past. We know that many of you have done this in therapy!

The modalities are blended together and include, but are not limited to: hypnotherapy, somatic experiencing, meditation, trauma healing, NLP, EMDR, EFT, Shamanism, pelvic floor healing, and self-pleasuring. Oh yes, we do it all. During each class, your camera will be turned off for anything that requires privacy.

Classes are fun. You will definitely laugh. There will be many AH-HA moments. You’ll feel a lot of love for yourself and the other women.

How much attention and coaching will I get? Is Rachel available to me privately?

Rachel and the coaches provide an extraordinary amount of personal support. Not only do you get your own private coach for 9 sessions, you have the ability to do live coaching with Rachel after every class.

We use a messaging app, called Voxer. You will be able to leave messages any time, up to seven days a week. Every participant can hear each others’ messages, however only Rachel or your coach will respond. This allows everyone to learn from the teachings provided in response to each participant’s shares. Just to be clear, this means that no other participant is allowed to give advice to another, but you benefit from hearing what everyone has to say. We call this “staying in your own lane.”

If you need private therapeutic support from Rachel directly, you can contact her any time to set up a private session for an additional fee. We are invested in your results.

Is this a trauma healing program? What kinds of trauma do you address?

For all intents and purposes, yes, this is a trauma healing program. A lot of women don’t realize that they are traumatized. If you have experienced neglect, exploitation, shame and repression, control and manipulation, violence, isolation or colonization, this program is for you. And, if you have sexual or birth trauma, this program will deeply support your healing.

How is this different than therapy? Should I continue sessions with my current therapist?

Most therapy consists primarily of talking. This can be helpful, however talking can only take you so far because it keeps you in your conscious mind. Trauma needs to be healed at the root, so this highly therapeutic process will work from the top down, bottom up, and side to side. That means between the conscious, subconscious, and unconscious. We will work with your body, your breath, and several other techniques, that aim to integrate you on every level.

If you have a therapist, you’ll decide with them what you need while you’re in The Feel Good Life. Many women take a break from therapy during our process because talking about the program and the practices can keep you in your head. However, if you need the extra support for mental wellness, please continue as needed.

What is the time commitment?

Doing deep, intensive work over a short period creates behavior change, habit disruption, and long term healing.

You’ll be spending approximately 5 hours a week attending classes, doing your practices, talking with your buddy, and sharing/listening to the Voxer messaging app. You’ll fit this into your life on your own schedule.

You don’t need to do everything perfectly. In order to feel 50 - 95% better at the end of 5 months, you need to participate in 60 - 95% of what is being provided.

If you are thinking to yourself, “I don’t have that kind of time,” or “I’m way too busy for that”, you can ask yourself, "What do I have to do that is more important than healing myself?”

What if I can’t attend all the live online sessions?

That’s totally ok. All sessions are recorded and uploaded into the Kajabi teaching platform, so if you miss one, you can catch up.

You may think that it’s impossible to change your schedule, but after attending a few classes live, you won’t want to miss them. Attending classes is not mandatory, and yet, it will light you up and make you feel better, so you’re encouraged to attend.

On what is the cost of the program based?

The program cost is based on the intimate size of the group, the amount of personal support each participant receives, and the decades of experience and training Rachel and team bring. Over the course of the five-month Feel Good Life program, you’ll be getting over 60 hours of time with Rachel and your coach, including daily support through Voxer (our messaging app).

At the Feel Good Life, we believe everyone should have an equal opportunity to thrive, no matter their income. For this reason, we offer our inclusive Pink Bottle Pricing method, where you get to decide what works best for you.

We are confident that if you engage in the classes, do the practices 4-5 days a week, listen to the group messaging and attend your buddy call, you will, at the end of the program, see phenomenal results and totally understand and agree with the price of the program. At the end of the program, many women have said “I’m surprised this didn’t cost more.”

You might ask yourself “what’s it costing me to live like this, and what’s it worth to me to feel better?” Things like mental health problems, relationship challenges, energy expended on yelling at your kids or hating your job, or feeling low, or dealing with financial stress--these are expensive. Not just in money, but in time and energy. We have a saying, “pay now or pay later!”

Lastly, we are proud to share that many women who set goals in this program to increase their earnings are able to do so with much greater ease because their confidence and self-worth goes way up!

What is the makeup of women in the group?

The group is made up of cis-gendered women between the ages of 25-75+. Lesbian women and women from all racial and ethnic backgrounds are welcome. Most of the previous participants have been white and are from the US, although we’ve had participants in Ireland, London, and Colombia. We have also had women who emigrated from Russia, Italy, Germany, Mexico, India, France, and Israel. Diversity is important to us; our intention is to mentor participants to become coaches and serve a wider network of diverse populations.

You belong. The Feel Good Community includes married women with and without children, single women with and without children, part time workers, full time, and no time. Interestingly, most of the women in the group seem to have pets. And pets are always welcome ☺️

I’m not sure I want to be in a group. Will other participants be giving me advice? Is this like group therapy?

No and No. You and everyone else will “stay in your own lane.” You will never give advice or get advice from another participant - not even in your 1:1 buddy call. There is no cross-talk in class. There is never addressing another participant by name in the group messaging or even referencing what someone else said. This is your personal work. You just happen to be doing it in a group and benefiting from hearing what other people have to ask and share, and Rachel’s teaching based on what individuals are bringing up. It’s so good.

Many women are reluctant to be a part of a women's group because of bad past experiences. We promise this will be well-managed, clean, clear and you will end up saying how much you LOVED being a part of the group.

What if there are practices I don’t want to do?

This entire program is about you restoring your total and complete trust in yourself. You always have autonomy. Consent is yours to give. Everything Rachel and your coach offers is a suggestion. It’s an invitation. We want you to learn to distinguish between what is a true “no” and what is a “no” because you’re resistant, afraid, or quietly attached to your old way of being that has you locked into certain patterns. We are here to help you have breakthroughs, and we always honor your pace, and your decision to say yes, no, or I’m not sure yet.

The program itself will give you the tools to attune much more quickly to whether something is a ‘yes’ or ‘no’ for you. The amount of time and energy you spend in indecision will rapidly decrease. Yay!

I’ve never meditated, gone to therapy, or done any sort of self help program. Can I do this or is it too advanced?

You can absolutely do this, regardless of your previous experience with therapy or self-help.

We have found that women who have not done any kind of therapy or self-help have huge success because they bring an openness and receptivity to this very unique therapeutic style. Being new to working on yourself brings a fresh perspective that we value in our community.

When you apply for the program, you’ll be asked a series of questions that will help us discern whether this is right for you at this time. If you need to work privately with Rachel prior to joining the Feel Good Life, you can do that, and enroll later.

I’ve done so much work on myself, and consider myself pretty advanced. Is this going to be more of the same? Am I beyond this?

You are not beyond this, and this is not going to be more of the same. The content, structure and support moves us along at a rapid, yet doable rhythm that doesn’t give you time to think too much or get in your own way. This is a practice-based program.

If you have been in therapy, or engaged in other healing and wellness practices (yoga, meditation, plant medicine, integrative / functional medicine, retreats, etc...) we have experience in supporting women just like you. Rachel was, in fact, one herself with over 25 years of healing work before stepping into the Feel Good material in 2018.

If you’ve unpacked a lot of your past experiences and have a good intellectual understanding of the history that contributes to the challenges you face today, and you find yourself saying “I know so much. I do so much to take care of myself. Why aren’t I happier?” this program is definitely for you.

Not only does Rachel have the therapeutic understanding of common struggles like anxiety, depression, and relationship problems, she has the experience and a concrete plan to help you become an expert in your own joy, pleasure, sensuality and peace.

When you apply for the program, you’ll be asked a series of questions that will allow us to help you discern whether this is right for you now.

How long does it take to rewire the nervous system and restore the pleasure circuits? What happens after the four months?

It takes 18 months to 2 years to get the nervous system to work as it was intended. Not bad if you’ve had decades of stress, unprocessed emotions, and painful experiences! The Feel Good Life will catapult you into a routine and structure of practices that allow you to feel robust and fortified again… or even better than you’ve ever felt.

After you complete the program, it will be essential that you continue to do the work either on your own or with the Expanded program. About 75% of your cohort will sign up for Expanded. We dive deeper into the original curriculum, and add new material that takes your results to a whole new level. When Expanded is complete, most women come into the Feel Good Life Dedicated membership where they repeat the Expanded curriculum again on their own, meeting once a month to learn new material with Rachel. Dedicated members also meet once a week to attend a peer-lead practice session. You’ll continue to receive support from Rachel through our messaging app. That’s nearly two years of support from Rachel and your group to land in a truly evolved place.
You will be fully set to thrive in the life that you’re creating for yourself.
